The 38-unit Off-Site Garages of 6th Avenue is located at the southwest corner of the 6th Ave. and Sheridan Blvd. intersection, where the Denver and Lakewood city limits meet. The site is immediately off of 6th Ave., and provides quick ‘on and off’ access to the expressway
The 6th Avenue site consists of three buildings, and a clubhouse with restrooms. Individual garage unit lengths are 40 feet in building 1, 48’ in building 3 and 50 feet deep in building 2. Unit widths start at 16’ and go up to 32’, with most being 24’ wide. To best accommodate the topography, the middle building (2) consists of two levels, with the ceilings of the lower level at 14' high, providing 12.5' usable clearance. Accordingly, these lower units are more conducive for automobile storage.
In addition to the standard unit amenities, all units at the 6th Ave. site also are equipped with hot and cold water and a utility sink. Additionally, all units in buildings 1, 3 and the upper level of building 2 come with a mezzanine equal to one-third of the unit’s floor area. The overhead door height of these units is 14’ and the ceiling height is +/- 23’ at the peak. Accordingly, there is plenty of room for the mezzanine. The units in the bottom level of building 2 do not have mezzanines due to the lower ceiling height as stated above. In addition to the standard site amenities, the Off-Site Garages of 6th Avenue site are fenced, gated and under 24/7 video surveillance.
